I have a pair of gloves back a few years ago that use battery to warm my hands in winter. Now there is jacket with the same concept. Powered by M12 Red Lithium battery that runs the company's power tools, the Milwaukee M12 Heated Jacket ($135-$180) features three carbon fiber heating zones to keep you comfortable in even the most fierce cold, while multiple layers provide protection from wind and water. Just don't forget the charger. [Source Uncrate]

Renting Movie with a USB Stick
Flix-on-Stix is a renting machine (like vending machine) to rent your beloved movie on USB. The concept is simple, yet peppered with problems. Lets cover the concept first…the idea is having a user insert their USB drive into the Flix on Stix kiosk and download a movie. Great idea…simple, convenient and assuming cheap.
Look just one step deeper and you start asking yourself about transfer times. The Flix-on-Stix is USB 3.0 enabled, but SuperSpeed flash drives have just ‘barely’ come to market, most will have USB 2.0. So to download a low quality video will take at least 10 minutes. Next, what kind of DRM does Flix on Stix use? We know our USB and their is no universal USB copy protection that will work on PCs, Macs and set-top boxes...

Nokia X7 headed to AT&T
Here we see the photo of the new Nokia X7 - a smartphone that although not officially announced yet, is already showing its faces and it indicates to be a device with high-end design and very appealing. Mobile-review’s Eldar Murtazin has posted two photos that show an AT&T-branded Nokia X7 – so unless the second largest US carrier cancels the launch in the last minute, the device will certainly hit its shelves. The specifications have not yet been revealed, but what you can tell by the photos is that the device brings an 8-megapixel camera with flash, Symbian OS^3 and 4 speakers in the corners.
