The bad news is that it is not free. To enjoy the service you have to buy the iSpot On-the-Go Service Plan. For unlimited data usage and 4G (WiMax) speed, it is priced $25/month. The manufacturer's website doesn't say if iSpot can work with MacBook or MacBook Pro or PC and Android based Tablet. The download speed is up to 6.0 Mbps and upload speed is up to 1.00 Mbps.

For 4G coverage in the city and nationwide 3G service they have Clear Spot 4G+.

If you have an iPhone I am wondering if it's practical buying separate data plan from other company, outside your phone vendor such as AT&T. Why don't just buy data plan from your phone carrier? Yes, I know it is 4G right?
