Nikon Announces Two New Pro-Level Lenses To Its Legendary Lineup

Nikon Announces Two New Pro-Level Lenses: AF-S Nikkor 35mm f/1.4G lens and AF-S Nikkor 200mm f/2G ED VR II lens.



Nikkor 35mm f/1.4G wide-angle fast prime lens. Offering a large f/1.4 aperture, the lens is made up of 10 elements in seven groups, including one aspherical glass element. It comes in a weather-sealed magnesium alloy body and incorporates the company's Silent Wave Motor (SWM) for quieter auto-focusing, along with Nano-Crystal coating to reduce flare. It will be available in mid-November with an MSRP of $1799.95.



AF-S Nikkor 200mm F2G ED VR II features the company's latest, second generation Vibration Reduction technology (VR II) and adds adds a new mode onto the AF switch. It is updated version of its 200mm F2 VR professional lens and retaining the same lens construction as this lens. It also includes nano-crystal coating to reduce ghosting and flare. It will be available early October for an MSRP of $5999.95.
