This is a new product release from Motorola. Motorola and Verizon Wireless officially announced the Motorola DROID PRO during the CTIA trade show in San Francisco. Motorola said that the DROID PRO is the first Android smartphone for business users, and it supports Verizon Wireless' U.S. network as well as global networks in more than 220 countries.
The DROID PRO measures 119 x 11.7 x 60mm (4.6 x .46 x 2.36in) and weighs 134g (4.7oz). It offers a full QWERTY keyboard as well as a somewhat small 3.1-inch 480 x 320 pixel touchscreen display. It runs Android 2.2 and has support for Adobe Flash Player 10.1 built-in. The DROID PRO also features 3G Mobile HotSpot capabilities. The DROID PRO will come with 8GB of internal memory as well as an 8GB microSD card. It supports microSD cards up to 32GB in capacity.
The phone has a 5 megapixel camera with a dual-LED flash at the back and a glossy-looking cover with an etched pattern. There is no exact release date and pricing yet.
